Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to provide highly valued strategic consulting for IT initiatives. The incumbent will be required to proactively share knowledge of technology risks and be able to identify opportunities to improved efficiency to build a competitive advantage for their business unit.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Defines opportunities and prioritized projects based on predefined criteria (e.g., ROI, productivity, compliance, etc.)

  • Programs successfully attain business benefits and business case expected and complete on time and within budget.

  • Implements methodologies to bring consistent, repeatable processes based on best practices.

  • Measures, communicates, and shares IT Project and Program performance.

  • Defines, measures, and tracks KPIs and metrics.

  • Ensures annual project roadmaps are aligned and agreed upon with business; updates for progress throughout the year.

  • Ensures planning is completed in alignment with the business needs.

  • Provides strategic interface with assigned business units or functional area. Oversees and manages IT Investments and creates/maintains multi-year roadmaps for assigned business units/functional areas.

  • Ensures development of business technology strategy and performs opportunity assessment, solution discovery, risk management, and relationship management.

  • Establishes and oversees governance for all IT projects and programs in accordance to established PMO policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for end-to-end management of highly complex, enterprise-wide programs consisting of multiple projects including cross project management, conflict resolution, issue/risk/change management and executive level communications.

  • Accountable for ensuring the IT organization meets key performance objectives.

  • Performs other duties as required.

  • Education & Experience:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required. PMI certification preferred.

  • Minimum Experience: 10-15 years of IT experience with 7-10 years involving direct supervision. 7-10 years of project management experience

  • Knowledge & Skills:

  • Special Skills: Effective business consulting skills including ability to establish rapport with key business leaders to collaborate and influence. Highly proficient oral and written communication capabilities as well as executive presentation abilities

  • Specialized Knowledge:

  • Expert knowledge in project management tools and methodologies

  • Working understanding of general business operations including sales, finance, operations, purchasing, and manufacturing.

  • Understanding of how technology affects an organization and ability to link to redesigned business processes

  • Experience with large-scale, global project implementations
