    As a RN Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering acute quality nursing care that is consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act for Registered Nurses. This will involve being responsible and accountable for the quality of care delivered, working to ensure a safe environment for yourself, the patient and other staff members.

    Specific duties for this RN healthcare role include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering quality care that is consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act for RNs
  • Delegating and ensuring supervision of nursing activities and functions to other competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice, in accordance with local practice acts and regulations
  • Acting as a patient advocate that promotes the quality of health care delivered in the facility
  • Serving as a leader at all times to promote best practices within the profession of nursing
  • Delivering instant medical care in emergencies

    Job RequirementsWe are looking for hands-on Traveling Nurses who combine a passion for providing the best nursing care, with a demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures. You also should be adaptable with strong clinical assessment and independent problem-solving skills. It is also important that you have solid time management abilities as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact well with a diverse population.

    Specific qualifications for this travel nursing care role include:

    • Associate’s degree in nursing from a state accredited RN program
    • Current state issued and unrestricted RN license
    • Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
    • Current CPR certification
    • Solid knowledge about specific state laws and regulations governing practice
    • Satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies to demonstrate aptitude as assigned by role
    • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
    • Willingness to submit to and pass a background check and drug screening test
