Job Description We are conducting a search for reliability Engineer Fixed Equipment for our energy client located in the Newark, Delaware area. This premier Company offers a stimulating work, above average compensation in a family friendly and community involved environment.  The focus would be to provide fixed equipment engineering services in order to ensure safety, reliability and mechanical equipment integrity.  
  • Provide mechanical reliability fixed equipment technical support throughout the plant
  • Analyze equipment failures, recommend design changes to prevent repeat failures
  • Work across disciplines on projects to insure a high degree of department interaction
  • Mentor and provide direction to less experienced engineers for reliability fixed equipment
  • Provide turnaround support as needed for mechanical fixed equipment
  • Work with the inspection department and the mechanical integrity program to evaluate fitness-for-service items
  • Responsible for (MOC) management of change procedures for all mechanical changes and projects in the assigned area
  • Participate in HAZOPS and PSM reviews
  • Develop and revise current engineered standards for mechanical fixed equipment
  • Lead various Root Cause Failure Analysis to improve reliability of fixed equipment
  • B.S. Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years plant fixed equipment reliability engineering
  • Familiarity with ASME Codes and Standards
