Job Description The Diocese of Green Bay is currently seeking a versatile, highly motivated BOOKKEEPER to join our accounting & finance team.

Job Description:
The Bookkeeper is involved in all aspects of the day-to-day accounting functions (A/R, A/P and general ledger) of the organization; and will be actively involved in the month end closing process by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and budget to actual comparisons. In addition, the bookkeeper will generate and analyze financial reports to be used by organization managers and serve as a resource for their questions. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines while providing accurate work.
Job Requirements


  • MUST HAVE an Associates Degree in accounting or related field of study.
  • Two to three years of related accounting experience is also required.
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems.
  • Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills is required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate organizational and time management skills.
