Job Description

Supports customers in the utilization of credit and risk related systems.  Provides credit leadership in the design, development, implementation, testing, training and documenting of credit and risk related software.  As directed, provides assistance and leadership for department and corporate projects.  Serves as a secondary support resource for other personnel within the Customer Service Department.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provides assistance to end users in the utilization of credit and risk systems, including Credit Origination, Collateral Appraisal and Financial Analysis.  Answers phone calls, responds to e-mails, delivers on-line guidance and works with the user community to develop alternative utilization processes. Provides assistance and leadership, as directed, on credit and risk related projects, including organizing, planning, scheduling and reporting on project progress.  Participates in all phases of project activity. Provides credit leadership in the design, development and implementation of assigned credit and risk systems.  Provides credit expertise in the testing, training and documentation of new and/or upgraded credit and risk related software programs.  Assists in ensuring the quality of system changes via pilot installations, as well as developing and determining the appropriate training and implementation methods.
  • Provides backup support for other departmental personnel and their areas of responsibility.  
  • Job RequirementsEducation including a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, agricultural finance, agricultural economics or a related field.

     

    Experience of at least one year in agricultural lending, credit analysis, credit automation or credit training. Credit-related computer programs (i.e., Loan Origination, Loan Analysis, Loan Accounting, Risk Systems).

      

    Knowledge of the Farm Credit System; Bank and Association operations; credit, finance, marketing and accounting principles and practices.
