Job Description Bass Pro Shops is Hiring a Part-Time Human Resources Assistant in Nashville

As the HR Assistant, you will assist the HR Manager with daily clerical functions in the store; to include: completing new hire paperwork; copying; filing; and data entry.


Position Responsibilities

  • Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers
  • Completes “new hire" paperwork for new associates
  • Assists with, and helps coordinate the S.T.A.R. program
  • Completes Data entry for new associates, pay increases, associate reviews, etc.
  • Maintains “confidentiality" with all sensitive information
  • Performs filing, copying and other clerical duties as needed
  • Assists with planning and implementing Associate activities
  • Gathers data & information, and prepares certain reports as needed
  • Coordinates and schedules appointments as needed
  • Handles customer and associate questions and requests
  • Keeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies
  • Follows all Company Policies and Procedures
  • Education / Experience

  • High School education or equivalent experience
  • Ability to calculate figures, interpret and analyze data from reports
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers, and customers
  • Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.
