Career Opportunity Now Available for a:
Engineering Technician

This position is based in Greenville, SC and will provide assistance to engineering in developing new process, equipment, or materials. You will support pilot manufacturing to resolve manufacturing problems and ensure that process specifications are followed.


Other Duties Include:

  • Run engineering tests and experiments; collects data; reports results.
  • Plan and run test and experiments as requested by supervisor.
  • Collect and summarize data for supervisor.
  • Identify and solve engineering problems with limited supervisor assistance.
  • Write memos, technical reports and process specification revisions.
  • Monitor pilot process for compliance with process specs and report discrepancies.
  • Assist pilot operators in solving manufacturing problems and train and develop new operators as required.
  • Job Requirements
    • ​Technical AS Degree or HS Degree
    • ​5+ years of related experience.
    • ​Able to perform simple data entry and use word processor software.
    • ​Working knowledge of basic arithmetic, negative numbers, power & roots, decimals and fractions, algebra and basic statistics.
    • ​Able to read and understand technical reports, process specifications, and office correspondence. Able to write clear and understandable memos and procedures.
    • ​Able to use or learn the use of basic laboratory test equipment and to train others to its use.
    • ​Working knowledge of basic electricity, electronics and circuits
    • ​Mechanical aptitude sufficient to understand the detailed operation of production machines.
    • ​Aptitude for troubleshooting and ability to obtain expertise in the production of electronic components.
