Provides case management services to a caseload of assigned program clients.
Refers applicants and recipients to appropriate program components and supportive services such as child care assistance.
Coordinates all project services provided to a participant. Performs program orientation, job readiness screening and assessment.
Assists the program client in creating an Employment Plan
Participates as necessary in work groups and committees aimed at evaluating participants’ needs, improving services, and implementing new service strategies.
Collaborates with other Employment Specialists to provide expertise and assistance in resolving client issues.
Data enters participants’ attendance daily in an accurate and timely manner.
Scans and logs all participant documentation in an accurate and timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum three (3) years’ work experience in social service programs
(note: additional graduate course work credit received from an accredited college or university in any social and/or behavioral science may substitute for required experience.
Ability to interact successfully with program participants, project staff, clients and subcontractors.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel.
Demonstrated ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
