What we need:

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator is a key member of the HR team who is detailed oriented, self-directed and driven to contribute to Cetera’s growth and success. As the primary point of contact for new employees, the On-Boarding Analyst will have the opportunity to demonstrate Cetera’s values and commitment to people at the beginning of the employee’s career with our company. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to successfully own a project end to end, have excellent written and oral communication skills and experience in either recruiting or onboarding employees. S/he will also be excited to work in a fast-paced, growth environment, will have a passion for providing excellent service, a willingness to go the extra mile to provide a great experience, and be interested in learning about other areas of HR as part of the overall role.

What you will do:

  • Process and pre-screen background checks and fingerprint results
  • Prepare and process official offer letters, including variable compensation plan documents and new hire documents
  • Assist new employees with completing forms and track for completion; keeping manager and HR Business Partners updates on progress and/or issues
  • Manage, track, maintain weekly requisition reports
  • Plan, conduct and/or coordinate New Hire Orientation
  • Scan, file and bookmark documentation electronically
  • Create employee files, assuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality
  • Coordinate with hiring managers, staffing, IT and HRBP teams on all pre-boarding activities and ensure excellent first-day experience for all new hires
  • Ensure compliance of all new hire activity (I-9’s, training)
  • Manage “hiring of candidates" in the system as a super user of the recruitment and onboarding modules
  • Update or coordinate updating of all New Hires materials as necessary; including new hire overview presentation, benefits materials/presentation/ FAQs, manager checklist, etc.
  • Serve as a liaison to site onboarding leads and ensure new employees have a turn-key, seamless, first-day experience regardless of location
  • Assist with HR projects as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Job Requirements

    What you need to have:

    • BA in HR or related field or equivalent experience
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Desire to grow
