Position:  Outside Sales Representative (B2B)

Sales Territory:   (Ontario, Eastern Monroe, Wayne, Seneca, Yates, Cayuga Countries)

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (evenings and weekends as needed for events)

Salary:  Competitive base salary + monthly commission

Manages others:  No (Position manages entire sales process)

Travel:  Road Warrior (Local to Syracuse area)

Education:  Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:  3-8 years account management experience required.  Strong knowledge of manufacturing environments, human resources, and/ or talent management.

Duties and responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Sales the Account Executive is responsible for consulting with area companies in the manufacturing sector to determine their staffing and labor needs selling contract, temporary-to-permanent, and permanent/direct hire staffing services in the assigned territory by generating job orders, servicing client needs, seeking new business opportunities and working cross functionally with branch operations and Talent Acquisition Managers.  .

 

  • Seeking out and developing relationships with potential clients and key decision makers by understanding their business, providing extra mile service and suggesting solutions that fit their needs

  • Develop sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients and close new business (email, cold calling, telephone prospecting), and meet potential clients at their locations to accurately qualify the prospect and establish needs

  • Develop and present marketing and sales campaigns to perspective clients

  • Create customer loyalty by building relationships with current clients, anticipating their needs and maintaining frequent contact

  • Monitoring and reporting changes in market conditions, competitive activities, and customer preference/needs

  • Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses

  • Actively participate in various business, manufacturing and human resources related events to identify new potential clients and opportunities

  • Work with branch operations and Talent Acquisition Managers to develop sales campaigns and a consultative sales approach to win and retain business

    Qualifications

     

     The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

    • 3-8 years experience in account management and business development

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, however will substitute applicable experience in lieu of a degree

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Experience working in MS Office including Word, Excel, & Outlook, Power Point

    • High level of organizational and time management skills

    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and/or environments preferred  

    • Prior staffing industry, payroll or healthcare sales, experience is a plus
