Vantage is currently looking for a Corporate Writer/Editor to work at our downtown Monroe location on Monday through Friday.
Job Summary: Vantage Health Plan is a health insurance company that is looking for a talented Corporate Writer/Editor to join our Media team to generate and audit content for websites, various marketing mediums, newsletters, letters, and electronic mail. The candidate needs to be a self-starter, who brings positive energy to the office. Ultimately, Vantage Health Plan is looking for an engaging writer, who brings informative and enlightening content that helps increase the professionalism of our company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop engaging content to attract and retain customers and other audiences
Up-to-date with the newest technologies and marketing trends
Create, edit, audit, and enrich content while collaborating with design and compliance teams
Create and deliver creative social campaigns
Initiate and produce compelling and persuasive content
Maximize opportunities for engagement, indexing, ranking, click-throughs, and conversions
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or business
Needs at least five years of creative writing experience, preferably health field
Expert in the various social media platforms
Should have excellent communication and writing skills
Can write in appropriate styles when necessary
Must have attention to detail and deadlines; time management skills
Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
SEO writing skills and any medical knowledge is preferred
Works under general supervision of Media Production Director
Overtime will be occasionally required. Travel may be required.
