Job Description Facility Operations Manager POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the planning, prioritizing, organizing, controlling, reporting, evaluating, and adjusting of facilities maintenance operations to facilities maintenance contract & ensure conformance with company policies & procedures.


  • Responsibility for supervision and development of first level Supervisors/Managers.
  • Responsibility for interface and negotiations with subcontractors.
  • Monitors company performance for conformance to original proposal and maintains continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations.
  •  Initiates documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications.
  •  Prepares special reports and analyses as required.
  •  Responsible for the day-to-day tactical duties for a moderately complex program. 
  • Responsible to oversee results of multi-functional project teams.
  • Responsible for the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Project Manager and customer. 
  • Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.

    • Must possess an Active Secret Clearance.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, science, business administration or equivalent experience. 
    • Ten years experience in technical program planning and implementation, contract interpretation budget development and administration of government projects including a minimum of eight years supervision/management experience.
