Job Description

Infogroup's Local Marketing Solutions Division has a BIG opportunity. We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our Papillion, NE office. This position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and deploying business application software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Analysis and design within an application area, working individually or coordinating development as part of a team.


Essential Job Functions:

1. Analysis, designing, coding, debugging, and testing business applications.

2. Provide technical leadership and coaching to team members as well as solutions to complex software development problems.

3. Conduct code reviews in accordance with team processes/standards.

4. Interact with key partners and internal users regarding timelines, technical issues, and infrastructure integration.

5. Provide leadership in the design and implementation for an array of applications.

6. Understand and work with data in with varying degrees of complexity and scale.

7. Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner.

8. Design and develop programming systems making specific determinations about system performance.

9.  Expected to conduct system analysis and development to keep our systems current with changing technologies.

10. Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for junior programmers.

11. Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.

12. Tests new programs to ensure that logic and syntax are correct, and that program results are accurate; assists lower-level programmers with programming assignments.

13. Document code consistently throughout the development lifecycle.

14. Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.

15. As new technologies emerge and impact our systems, expected to learn these technologies very quickly and resolve any problems involved in integrating new technologies with our systems.

16. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technology related area (Computer Science, Engineer, etc.) required. 2. 5 to 7 years of relevant experience is required. 3. Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Web Services, SQL Server, SOAP, Rest, JQuery, HTML, JavaScript required.
4. Object-oriented Design, Analysis, and Programming (OOD, OOA, OOP).  5. Prior experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications preferred.  6. Experience with ReactJS, Angular, or other front end framework a plus.  7. Experience with agile methodologies is a plus.  8. Mobile software development is a plus.  9. Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff.  10. Must be knowledgeable in software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.  11. Must be able to work flexible hours on-site and remote.  12. Must be able to coordinate with other staff and provide technological leadership.  13. Ability to work in a complex, dynamic team environment with minimal supervision and possess good organizational skills.  14. Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple assignments on a daily basis.  15. Strong interpersonal skills are needed to work well with a talented team of developers.  16. Ability to be on call when needed.
