Job Description Clinical Resource Manager

The Clinical Resource Manager is responsible for the Human Resources function, part B oversight, clinical audits, and regulatory practices ensuring company practices meet and exceed local, state, and federal regulations and requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all Clinicians have met state and national licensure and certification to practice in Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Speech-Language Pathology
  • Ensure clinicians have met requirements for continuing education according to the state of practice and governing bodies
  • Ensure all SLPs have maintained current Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association
  • Oversee the new hire process: place employment ads, maintain applicant tracking database, review resumes, phone screen applicants, conduct interviews and background checks, hire qualified candidates
  • Facilitate all on-boarding activities including new hire paperwork, orientation meetings, etc.
  • Oversight of performance reviews for all staff
  • Responsible for coordinating employee benefit eligibility, enrollments, terminations, and payments
  • Coordinate and implement staff training, classes, and meetings
  • Maintain and update job descriptions and all policies and procedures for the clinical practice
  • Provide oversight to clinical auditors ensuring all equipment and documentation meet operations requirements
  • Provides insight and guidance for Part B management
  • Supervises Human Resources Coordinator and Clinical Auditors

    Education/Job Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources Management or experience in management/supervision
    • At least one (1) year experience in Human Resources
    • At least one (1) year experience conducting therapy and nursing chart audits
    • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
    • Practice effective and positive communication skills with staff, patients, and caregivers
