Manufacturing Manager

TYPE:  Management

SALARY:  up to $95K year


Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Manufacturing Manager plans schedules, coaches, mentors and motivates the production team.  This position coordinates multiple departments, material flow, labor, production and suppliers to achieve on time delivery.  This position will lead 30-40 team members, production, purchasing, maintenance, facilities and logistics.

Job Requirements


  • An Associates or continuing technical/management education or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of experience planning, coordinating and leading operations of multiple manufacturing departments.
  • Familiar with or basic understanding of assembly, fabrication, welding, machining, wiring and painting processes.
  • Knowledge of ERP software and/or visual manufacturing software.
  • Lean, continuous improvement and advanced problem solving skills.


  • Develop, maintain and modify the production schedule.
  • Determine capacity and lead for manufacturing and logistics functions.
  • Determine and communicate accurate lead time to the sales team.
  • Lead, guide, direct, hire, train and motivate team members.
  • Implement, improve and ensure compliance of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Monitor key metrics covering efficiencies, labor, productivity, material cost, quality and delivery.
  • Assists the core management team making decisions on capital equipment and technology.
  • Monitor and maintain the operational budget.
  • Drive and implement the ongoing continuous improvement program.
  • Skilled in the use of computers, software and MS Office products.
  • Develop reports, maintain records, data and metrics.
