Job Description

Eckerd Connects is seeking Contract Therapists for our Therapeutic Foster Care Program in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, OK

Conduct assessments and provide direct clinical treatment using evidenced based principles and practices.  Document treatment efforts in clear and concise manner to meet contract requirements and Eckerd policies, and submit such documentation before published deadlines.  This position also works in partnership with families, social workers, and services providers to promote safety, permanency, and well-being for children referred by the local child welfare agency.  Uses a variety of family engagement strategies to coach, educate, and support families.  Care coordination, including assessment, developing and monitoring plans, linking community resources and crisis support, is provided in concert with children and families and community partners.  The therapist also gathers and submits the documentation for credentialing of the therapeutic foster homes assigned.  Sooner Care Provider preferred.

Job Requirements

Education – Master’s degree, from an accredited College or University, in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related subject area required.  Licensure required.

Experience – Two years experience working with at-risk youth, including children who have family, educational or emotional disturbances.
