Job Description Corporate Internal Auditor
Summary: :

Conduct assurance testing, training and subsequent testing of property level and corporate office processes based on White Lodging documented standard operating procedures, SSAE control objectives, internal control concepts and GAAP as assigned. The Corporate Internal Auditor reports to the Corporate Audit Manager.


Responsibilities of the position include the following:

  • Participate in scheduled pre audit meetings with Internal Audit management.
  • Prepare preparatory work in conjunction with assigned assurance, training and or subsequent testing in accordance with WL Internal Audit standards.
  • Travel to and conduct assurance, training and or subsequent testing of internal control processes at White Lodging managed properties as assigned.
  • Travel may exceed 50%. Some testing may be conducted remotely where practical and as assigned.
  • Assist in assurance an COMPETENCIES d subsequent testing within the White Lodging Corporate Office.
  • Document all testing in accordance with White Lodging Internal Audit Standards and programs.
  • Discuss audit deficiencies with White Lodging Property Level managers.
  • Recommend corrective action based on White Lodging Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Prepare audit reports in accordance with White Lodging Internal Audit Standards.
  • Special Projects and fraud investigations as assigned.
  • Follow all White Lodging policies as noted in SOPs and the White Lodging Employee Handbook.
  • Communicate and conduct oneself in an effective and professional manner
