Job Description Twincraft Skincare is growing! Located in both Winooski and Essex, Twincraft is a locally owned company and manufacturer of specialty soap and skincare products. We are currently seeking people to join our Quality team in Winooski for 1st shift, which is Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm.

The Quality Tech supports 1st shift production primarily for our Winooski facility with occasional support for our Essex location.  This is accomplished through line, batch, and component audits, capturing data, co-creating manufacturing processes, and other daily activities including defect documentation, recovery, and disposition.  Ability to use common sense and apply good judgement while working with Line Leads and Account Managers to properly and confidently communicate concerns is necessary in this position.

Job Requirements Optimize performance through material and production inspections/audits that focus on aspects which are critical to customer quality. Conscientiously document defect recovery and disposition by gathering details and information, meanwhile referring to SOP’s/VWI’s, and working with others to identify root causes and problem solve. Identify improvements through a willingness to test assumptions relative to safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost. Review and interpret product specifications including making suggestions for improvement and clarity as well as pre-check all specs before production. Develop and set standards for the production line and review and update as necessary. Responsible for sending samples to customers and to a third party lab for testing. Reliable transportation is necessary as sometimes travel between the two facilities is required. Support and help implement continuous process improvements. College degree is not required but hands on experience is preferred.  Ability to work collaboratively with people while maintaining a team oriented mindset.  Strong math, writing, reading, and computer aptitude.
