  • Detailed visual and mechanical inspection of all parts and / or assembles
  • Perform root cause analysis for all non- conformances detected
  • Collaborates with engineering and assembly functions to ensure quality standards are in place and being implemented
  • Ensure that all engineering drawings provide the necessary clarity for manufacturability and inspection
  • Apply and maintain quality workmanship standards for processing parts into partially finished or finished product
  • Implement methods and procedures for inspecting, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of all products
  • Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
  • Create a quality control inspection checklist
  • Work in conjunction with area team Leaders to ensure corrective measures are being implemented to prevent and reduce non- conformances
  • Ensure that all non-conforming parts and assemblies are identified, documented and recorded in the QDR database
  • Job Requirements
    • Quality assurance experience
    • Welding and Machine shop experience is a plus
    • Ability to use attribute gages, all basis and specialize measuring instruments
    • Good organization skills
    • Read blueprints and specifications
    • Provide verbal and written reports on specifics of the process
    • Proficient in basic computer operations and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word and Outlook)
    • Adaptable, flexible and able to perform inspections in all phases of the manufacturing process
    • Capable of lifting 35lbs.
    • The ability to stand or walk for an entire shift
    • Operation knowledge of AS400 is preferred
    • Ability to read electrical schematics
