Job Description


We are in search of a Facility Maintenance Manger within the organization:

General responsibilities including but not limited to:

 

 

 To provide direction and support for the Maintenance department along with laundry and housekeeping, to include planning, organizing, staffing and supervising departmental operations and in the maintenance of the physical plant to include interior and exterior of building, heating and cooling system and departmental equipment. Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local requirements.

 

Assume administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for supervision

and directing Departments.

 

Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and maintaining maintenance services.

Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other related departments.

Schedule department work hours including vacation, holiday, personnel, work assignments, etc. to expedite work.

Ensures confidentiality of company, departmental and employee information.

Develop and implement departmental systems and policies to ensure compliance   

with company standards. 


Work with facility management team in a collaborative manner.

Serve as Weekend Manager as scheduled.


Respond to emergency situations as necessary.

Job Requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 
Training and experience in environmental control, physical plant maintenance and 

operation and repair of required maintenance equipment including refrigeration, air

conditioning, generators, plumbing, electrical and security systems


• Minimum of 2-years experience in maintenance or related field


• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and procedures, building codes

  and safety regulations, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general carpentry


• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks


• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English


• Must be at least 18 years of age


• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled


• Must be capable of performing the ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL JOB FUNCTIONS
