POSITION PURPOSE:  Increase sales, client awareness and client satisfaction by selling business solutions, accessories and professional services to established accounts.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Maintain and establish long-term relationships with accounts. Properly qualify opportunities and sell solutions that meet their needs.  This includes using the sales process and database to properly demonstrate and sell products including selling add-on products to the client purchases.  This includes IT hardware, additional software, service contracts, and cloud based services.
  2. Be available as an information source to co-workers and assist other Account Managers with sales as needed. 
  3. Complete all follow-up to clients, including quotes, calls, letters and thank-you cards.  Monthly service satisfaction and quarterly onsite business reviews will be required.
  4. Once the product has been sold, oversee the coordination of product acquisition and installation.
  5. Independently maintain knowledge of the technology industry.  Attend designated training when needed. Ability to identify technology opportunities and create solutions around customer needs.
  6. Complete additional duties and projects as assigned and all other tasks as requested or required from time to time.
  7. Work with Technicians on a daily basis to coordinate service delivery and project management as needed.

 

 

Job Requirements

Essential Functions:   Ability to go on-site to client location to sell all products and services.

Education and/or Experience:  Two-year degree in Marketing, Business, Technology or related field (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of one-year field sales experience.

 

Other Skills and Abilities:  This position requires the following qualities: excellent customer service skills, be detail orientated, able to multi-task, able to work in dynamic atmospheres and be able to meet deadlines.  Position also requires maintaining confidentiality of company materials.  Clean driving record required.

Salary:    $30,000 to $40,000  competitive commissions on sales including upfront commissions for new recurring service contracts.
