Junior Sales / Business Development Representative

Responsibilities:

  • Report to management on a regular basis the state of sales and marketing goals, metrics and achievement status of these items.
  • Provide program sales volumes.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities, build and maintain an opportunity pipeline sufficient to ensure attainment of SOS revenue targets.
  • Qualify opportunities so that the time and resource invested in the sale will provide maximum return on investment.
  • Uncover, identify, and understand key customer needs and requirements that will positively impact the relationship with SOS.
  • Negotiate and draft terms for SOS Consulting Service Proposals and Agreements.
  • Routinely meet with customers, clients and partners to determine new business opportunities and to maintain and build positive relationships.
  • Report potential opportunities using Salesforce.com.
  • Manage a plan to hit or exceed quota number and report such plan and numbers to the Sales Manager weekly.
  • Participate in Sales and Marketing meetings, planning sessions, and training.
  • Maintain defined activity levels in support of Stock & Option Solutions’ corporate client, relationship, sales, marketing and business development initiatives.

    Job Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Minimum 1-3 years sales experience in financial services industry.
    • Proven sales and customer relationship track record.
    • Knowledge of partner and end-user sales.
    • Understanding of sales cycles, ability to deliver presentations of current and developing products and solutions.
    • Proven track record measured by over achievement of sales targets, customer satisfaction and business results.
    • Must be a highly organized, self-starter that can demonstrate creativity and work independently.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills required.
