This is a Project Manager/IT Planner/Business Process Improvement role in a successful growing radiology practice. Your experience with healthcare IT, revenue cycle, and application integration will be highly valued. The successful candidate will coordinate and monitor IT integration projects or programs. This role is highly visible position, and melds both project management with business analysis. The focus of this position is on defining, negotiating, and then executing project commitments to deliver healthcare and billing integration solutions. Your strong relationship building and communication skills will enable your success. You will spend most of your time initiating, managing and coordinating integration projects with your counterparts in the revenue cycle management team.


  • Project management and planning through all lifecycle phases, including, but not limited to:

    o requirements

    o design, development, testing

    o operations and support

  •   Also serve as the liaison between internal and external clients in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met and projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Job Requirements


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Planning or other related scientific or technical discipline.
    • General Experience: At least 10 years’ progressive experience as an IT planner - or involved in planning type functions.
    • Specialized Experience: At least six (6) years of experience in planning, analyses, design, development, implementation and post-implementation of IT integrations projects or systems.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • At least three (3) years of project management experience in a healthcare IT organization or at least three (3) years of experience in a revenue cycle or collection organization.
    • At least three (3) years of experience with systems planning and implementation (Initiation, Concept Proposal, Planning, Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Integration & Test, Implementation, and Operations & Maintenance).
    • Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of project management tools.
    • Demonstrated abilities to follow-up and influence others and drive outcomes without direct authority.
    • — Ability to provide realistic expectations, establish specific customer satisfaction metrics.
    • Ability to recognize problems or situations that are new or without clear precedent.
    • Conveys goals and objectives clearly and in a compelling manner; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed; interprets verbal and non-verbal messages that others communicate; produces clear status reports; communicates tactfully and candidly.
