Central Wyoming Counseling Center is the premiere community mental health system in East-Central Wyoming and has been an extraordinarily successful comprehensive system of care for more than 40 years.  In this time this $14m Center has helped tens of thousands of people – children and adults, individuals and families – live better lives by providing quality mental healthcare services.  This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to build on a wonderful foundation of comprehensive services and who will have the tremendous support of a talented and dedicated staff, and incredibly supportive Board and Community.  The charming community of Casper awaits its new CEO to bring this dynamic organization to the next level.

Ideal candidates should:

-        Be a mental health professional who has had a minimum of three (3) years of post-master’s experience providing mental health treatment in a behavioral health setting, and who has had a minimum of two )2) years of relevant senior experience in mental health management.

-          Have a track record of demonstrating the kinds of leadership skills that can inspire, motivate, nurture, encourage, and develop people and systems or order to continue to provide the very best care to citizens of Natrona County.

-          Possess a compassion for and commitment to the people we serve

-          Have a track record of being both a visionary and entrepreneurial leader

-          Have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex political settings….establishing credibility and confidence with consumers, state and local government, and community leaders

-          Be a person of great integrity, passion for delivering care to those in need, have great humility, humor, work ethic, and a demonstrated ability to work as both a motivational leader and strong manager who is accessible, visible, and committed to his/her community

-          Have experience in working in partnership with other behavioral health organizations and healthcare systems, and a commitment to the integration of primary and behavioral healthcare

-          Have demonstrable oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent listening, team building, and conflict resolution skills

-          Be able to commit to providing care of the highest quality while managing a financially secure organization…. particularly in a Medicaid environment

-          Be clinically and programmatically strong, with a commitment to insuring CWCC continues to be a leader in the delivery of excellent care

-Experience working with Electronic Health Record implementation desired

 

Have demonstrated an ability to insure the organization remains dynamic and responsive to changing times and needs, while preserving the very best of its history and tradition
