    We are a sales, service and installation organization committed to providing quality residential, industrial, and commercial door and related products. We currently have a   Dispatch Manager position available for an energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced service environment.  In this position, you will manage the performance of installers, service technicians and/or administrative staff.  Establish and enforce customer service standards and expectations while ensuring profitability on jobs performed.

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily scheduling of all jobs; ensuring customers’ preferences are met for a specific day and time of day.
  • Provide immediate problem solving assistance to office staff/installers/service technicians.
  • Constantly monitor in Real Time installers’/service technicians’ schedules in computer to maximize efficiency and profitability; track for jobs completed and place follow up calls to customers to ensure expectations were met.
  • Facilitate processing of completed jobs to ensure proper handling of materials and accurate billing.  Responsible for timely completion of all administrative paperwork associated with this position.
  • Perform employee performance reviews in conjunction with Department Manager, document performance issues, and provide employee counseling performance improvement action plans when necessary. 
  • Utilize company software and proprietary systems to timely generate Department reports for Senior Management’s review of current operation status compared to meeting overall performance objectives.   Participate in planning process and establishing Department goals and objectives. 
  • Always maintain and promote a positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees regardless of the circumstances.
  • Job Requirements
    • Bachelor’s Degree or if no degree, must have 3 years management experience in a fast-paced service focused organization. 
    • Experienced using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Must have a valid driver’s license
    • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Outstanding time management skills, and the ability to multitask
    • Experience in the construction, transportation, retail, or service industry (i.e. HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical)  
    • Dispatching experience  
    • Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and represent the company in a professional manner.
    • Strong aptitude for technical applications and mechanical systems;
