Job Description

We are a premier senior living community and are seeking a team-oriented professional to deliver exceptional service for our residents as a Certified Medication Aide. Position Summary: Ideal candidates will have a personality that highlights their dedication to superior customer service.  This position involves assisting residents with activities of daily living such as: dressing/mobility/hygiene/bathing/bed making/laundry and meals.  The candidate will also administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations.  

Job Requirements

  • 40 hour Medication Aide Certificate (NE & KS)
  • Basic First Aid Training
  • Demonstrated experience working in a customer focused role
  • Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly and their family members
  • Ability to communicate openly, honestly and responsibly with others
  • Ability to maintain a customer focus treating all customers with respect and integrity
  • Ability to accept responsibility for agreements made and follow through as appropriate
  • Strong Organizational skills are required
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills required
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 200 pounds with assistance
  • Experience or interest in working with older adults
  • Willingness to learn and help others
