If you are an outgoing and driven Branch Manager who is seeking career satisfaction with a financially stable company, join the team at MH Equipment! As a Branch Manager with MH Equipment, you will report to your Director of Operations. Your primary function will be to provide supervision, direction and support for the branch.

Primary/Essential Responsibilities :

  • Overall responsibilities for the Evansville Branch include service, parts, rental, sales, revenue, expense, costs, gross profit, net income, etc.
  • Supervision of all branch employees, including training, discipline, job expectations, pay issues, compliance with company policies, annual evaluations, etc.
  • Efficiently dispatch, analyze and monitor utilizations of technicians including labor utilization, non billable tracking, GPS records, etc.
  • Process paperwork including time cards, work orders, invoicing, bill of ladings, receipts, etc.
  • Resolve service issues, assist with technicians/technical needs, ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist with Rental opportunities, Used Truck Opportunities, and other Sales opportunities as appropriate to meet the needs of the customer base
  • Assure proper communication to all customers, including notification, follow up, conflict resolution, etc.
  • Take the leadership position on the safety matters, including building and facility issues, improvements, proper tools, housekeeping and upkeep
  • Assist with the loading/unloading/shipping/receiving of equipment and products
  • Develop and maintain a suitable parts inventory level, handle orders, fulfill parts requirements
  • Develop and maintain local relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers, providers, etc.
  • Assure compliance with corporate policy and procedures, including union relationship
  • Assist with and follow annual budget and capital requirements processes
  • Maintain landlord relationship on building and facility repairs, maintenance, condition, safety, appearance, etc.
  • Communicate with Director of Operations
  • Other duties as required in a small/minimal staffed branch location

    Job Requirements

    As a Branch Manager with MH Equipment, you must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, a strong sense of integrity and superb organizational and time management skills. You must also be a self-starter and problem-solver.

    Additional Requirements for the Branch Manager include:

    • Experience with a lift truck dealership in sales, service, and parts departments is a plus
    • Managerial experience
    • Ablity to organize and manage multiple tasks at a time
    • Displays honesty, ethics and integrity at all times
    • Good communication skills, verbal and written
    • Confidentiality
    • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and dependable vehicle
    • Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, web searches, etc.
    • Must meet physical requirements of the job
    • Must have prompt and regular attendance
    • Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress and preparation

    Working Conditions

    Employee is expected to work a basic 40-hour week Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. plus whatever time is required to accomplish goals for the position. This is a salaried position and is exempt from paid overtime.
