We are at the forefront of the green building movement and provide sustainable restroom solutions.  We manufacture water-efficient products including flush valves, electronic faucets, soap dispensing and sink systems along with vitreous china fixtures for commercial, industrial and institutional markets worldwide.

We have an immediate need for a Manufacturing Engineer III based at our world headquarters in Franklin Park, Illinois. The incumbent will perform functions to develop, maintain, and specify manufacturing processes to manufacture the company product lines on an economical and efficient basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as but not limited to machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods and processes, and routings.
  • Support shop floor personnel in trouble-shooting process and/or quality problems.
  • Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings as required and establish feeds, speeds, cycle times and other operating parameters for all type of equipment.
  • Recommend, justify, and implement the installation of new equipment and processes.
  • Analyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniques.
  • Assist in the design of products to develop "Design for Manufacturing" parts and processes.
  • Identify and implement cost reductions through plant manufacturing operations.
  • Work on various CNC equipment.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in related field of study (Mechanical/Mfg/Industrial Technology)
    • Minimum of eight years of industry related experience with manufacturing technologies, processes, methods, machining, assembly and company operations, product lines and practices or equivalent .
    • Strong analytical abilities, written and verbal communications skills
    • Ability to collaborate with coworkers, shop personnel, and outside vendors
    • Experience using Lean manufacturing techniques
    • Familiarity with CNC programming
