Job Description Whitestone REIT is a New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE") listed real estate investment trust ("REIT") that owns, operates, and redevelops and develops Community Centered Properties TM.

Whitestone REIT is seeking a highly-motivated Administrative Assistant to be based in our Austin/San Antonio division.   The position will report directly to our Division Director of the market.


·         Ordering and distributing company supplies;

·         Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and the kitchen;

·         Retrieving mail and distributing it properly;

·         Serve as a daily backup for answering the company phone;

·         Complete weekly reports for executive meetings;

·         Support the leasing management team and executives with projects as needed;

·         Maintain informational binders for the leasing staff;

·         Reconcile company expense reports and American Express reports;

·         Obtain travel arrangements for employees throughout the company as needed; and

·         Entering invoices into Payscan.

Job RequirementsSkills and Education:

·         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;

·         Proven ability to meet demanding deadlines;

·         Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);

·         Proficiency in Concur;

·         Proficiency in Payscan/Yardi strongly preferred;

·         Strong written and communication skills;

·         Highly motivated and dependable;

·         High School diploma required; Associates degree preferred.
