Plant Manager – Food Industry
Plant Manager oversees the successful operation of the Plant with
responsibility for development, implementation and management of effective
operational goals, focusing on efficiencies, effectiveness, and financial
objectives, while ensuring that customers both external & internal are
continuously receiving quality products & service, at the same time as
maintaining a safe, effective and harmonious work environment.
plans, schedules, coordinates and directs all plant operations to provide
the highest quality products and services to our internal and external
customers, by ensuring compliance to Quality Policies / Procedures & Dept.
/ Site procedures, while maintaining budget targets for costs and standards of
reports all food safety and/or quality issues to direct supervisor and QA department

and implements financial and non-financial objectives for the location
including the annual budget, financial forecasts and operating plans
all departments perform within budgeted operating standards
the Industry Plant’s operating and capital budget, and forecast needs of the
predetermined finished inventory levels. Coordinates bulk & packaging
requirements with Packaging & Purchasing depts. and the Purchasing dept. to
meet targeted production schedules
plant employee payroll for accuracy
dept. assets to assure maximum and most efficient usage for production
as an active member of Quality Assurance Committee and the COI Safety Committee
the VP of Operations with strategic initiatives and goal attainment. Establishes
plant initiatives & goals to support Divisional objectives
creative thinking, generates and presents new ideas for products, methods and
all other duties as assigned.
