Job Description Our client is an International trading company that trades AVIATION parts and equipment worldwide to support commercial airlines and repair stations. The products are primarily  used by Boeing, Airbus, GE, CFMI, and Pratt Whitney components.

The Product Support Specialist will support the engine product line in maximizing profits and increasing revenue. Upon induction, candidates will be assigned a product manager to train and mentor them as they begin buying and selling commercial airline equipment in the open market.

They will be responsible for the following:
Repair Management:
  • Entering and processing all repair orders, repair pricing and track repair vendor performance
  • Manage assets being dismantled for spare parts
  • Identify material required for repair as well as source material that scraps at repair

  • Material Management:
  • Manage backlog reports and track monthly on time performance
  • Assist with brokering material as required
  • Manage exchange process; including quoting, invoicing, shipping details, paperwork, core returns, repair, training staff on process. Communicate with customers, product lines, and sales all information related to exchange.
  • Assist product lines managers with market pricing and update Quantum (software)

  • Data Management:
  • Identify alternate part numbers and update Quantum (software) with alternates and SB/AD data
  • Maintain organized records of work scope, shop reports, work performed and contracts of all assets managed by the overhaul service group
  • Run monthly revenue, gross profit, and inventory reports

  • Job RequirementsQualified candidates should demonstrate professionalism and a willingness to learn and grow in this exciting Aviation field. 

    Candidates must have the following:
    • Background in business or technical field 
    • Assertive
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel a must)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Organized, 
    • Deadline oriented (trades can be time sensitive and markets can be fast paced)

    As the candidates progress both domestic and international travel may be required.
