RETAIL SALES CONSULTANT

 YOUR FOCUS (JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

Retail Sales Consultants are responsible for selling a full range of telecommunications products and services to our guests in a professional and customer friendly approach.   You will multitask, display basic math skills, have the flexibility to work retail hours, display excellent sales skills, and analytical skills.   In addition, you are a highly-motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed.

As a Retail Sales Consultant, you will also:

  • Achieve personal sales goals as set by Store Manager and monthly commission plan
  • Represent the store in a positive manner while providing excellent customer service
  • Diligently learn all Victra/Verizon products and promotions and ensures your knowledge of these programs is current
  • Inspire customers to buy
  • Prepare sales contracts and accept and process payments from customers
  • Answer customers’ queries or concerns
  • Provide advice to customers regarding all Victra/Verizon products and services
  • Advises customers on utilization and care of merchandise and products.
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control
  • Assist in display of merchandise and overall store presentation.
  • Handle all returns courteously and professionally
  • Adhere to loss prevention and inventory control standards and all Victra policies and procedures
  • PAY RATE: HOURLY + COMMISSION

    YOUR BACKGROUND (Requirements)

    Along with having excellent communication skills and ability to read various reports, we are looking for the Sales Consultant to bring the following:

  • High School diploma, AA preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail sales environment preferred
  •

    This Sales Consultant (SC) is responsible for selling a full range of telecommunications products and services to our customers in a professional and customer friendly approach.   The ideal candidate must have the ability to multitask and provide an excellent customer experience in all interactions.  This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service, sales skills, and problem solving skills.  In addition, the SC must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. 

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

    1.  Providing timely responses to the general inquiries of the sales leadership team.
    2. Conducting administrative duties in a timely and efficient manner as requested.
    3. Remain compliant to company sponsored policies and procedures.  
    4. Ability to connect quickly and effectively with customers in order to increase comfort levels in all sales and service interactions.
    5. Skilled at conducting needs assessments with customers in a manner that provides the proper information in order to make solid recommendations based upon their needs.
    6. Proficient at providing concise and easy to understand recommendations on our wireless products and services. 
    7. Skilled at conducting customer contact programs with the purpose of building long term relationships that increase our business opportunities.
    8. Responsible for keeping up to date on all promotions, pricing, and updates that are provided to our sales teams on a daily basis. 
    9. Maintaining the facilities, including cleaning the store and ensuring that the store remains audit compliant in all affected areas.
    10.  Performing inventory counts and cash reconciliation in a timely and efficient manner.
    11. Self-motivated, positive, and a team player with strong interpersonal skills. 
    12. Other duties may be assigned.
    Required Experience

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    1. Strong skills with Microsoft Outlook and Office products.
    2. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
    3. Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
    4. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    5. Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
    6.  Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, multi-task, and cope well with frequent change.
    7. Minimum of one year of retail sales experience.
    8. High School graduate (Post high school education/training is preferred).
