Job Description

Westaff is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leader in innovative building materials, for an energetic Sales Coordinator!

Candidates with previous experience in a retail environment with familiarity with building products are encouraged to apply! This position has the strong potential to evolve into an Outside Sales role.

Location: South Burlington

Pay Rate: $15/hr

Hours: 8am-5pm M-F & every other Saturday 9am-2pm

Duration: Temp to Hire or Direct Hire

(Full Benefits offered upon permanent hire)

FOCUS: The primary responsibility for this position is to provide support to the outside sales staff. This would include specific attention to walk in traffic, phones and administrative responsibilities in specified segment. 



Job Requirements


  • Answer incoming telephone calls and help manage sales leads.
  • Greet and qualify customers in the showroom.
  • Offer pricing to help qualify product choices.
  • Sell to walk-in / DIY customers when traffic warrants it.
  • Coordinate field appointment times for Outside Retail Reps.
  • Call customers to confirm appointments.
  • Order product literature, postcards, letterhead, and labels for distribution to showrooms and sales people.
  • Collect Lead Source for all customers and report to manager via spreadsheet
  • Assists Salespeople in setting up sales folders.
  • Support installation team and, if necessary, maintain process flow of install folders and obtaining building permits. 
  • Maintains the by keeping it organized, clean and tidy**
  • Works all scheduled home shows as needed and the schedule demands.
  • Assists Installation and Service Departments with warrantee and follow up orders.
  • Daily reviews necessary communication with main office including maintaining and faxing invoice sheets and credit card audit batches.
  • Reviews daily cash drawer activities and balances cash drawer.  Reports any discrepancy to manager immediately.
  • Maintains all service parts inventory and orders replacements as needed.
  • Help maintain efficient file system for active/booked orders.
  • Customer Service intake and proper communication of Service related issues (input) through both phone in and walk in traffic.
  • Attend all segment sales meetings.
  • Utilize the installed solutions flyer to properly qualify prospective Retail customers


  • Two years of sales support experience, ideally in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft desktop products 
  • Ability to establish rapport and schedule appointments for product demonstration and sale.
  • Adaptability to flexible scheduling, including Saturday’s & evenings.
  • Ability to partner with sales people to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
  • Time management skills.
  • Multi-task orientation.
  • The ability to get along with others.
