An exciting Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance company is in search for a Mail Room Clerk to join their team and have the opportunity for career growth. As the Mail Room Clerk, you will handle incoming and outgoing mail as well as to make sure it is processed and sorted. This Mail Room clerk role is a short term temporary opportunity and is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. What you get to do every single day - Continuing operations in accordance with policies and procedures; communicating needed changes - Following techniques and procedures for the mailroom - Gathering and organizing information to be entered into the computer; prioritizing entries - Completing additional tasks as needed - Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive materials
Job Requirements•Experience in a corporate mailroom is preferred. •Basic Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) experience is preferred. •Detail oriented; skill in filing, sorting, entering, or posting data. •Basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and proof reading skills. •A willingness to learn, follow directions and work compatibly with others. •Basic courtesy and effective usage of English language to read, write, and express ideas orally. •Excellent time management skills. •Must be able to commit to a regular work schedule that supports the daily operations of the department and willing to work occasional overtime when needed. •Experience using a computer and willingness to learn new computer software and programs
