  • Calibration on portable and fixed gas detection equipment, air sampling equipment, sound level equipment and flow tests on respiratory equipment at customer locations 
  • Perform calibrations, repairs, rebuilds and general maintenance on rental and customer equipment 
  • Fire extinguisher service and maintenance
  • Confined space/rope rescue services
  • Maintain safety paperwork 
  • Work in the field and shop
  • Conform to all customer and DXP safety regulations

    Job RequirementsQualifications of the Safety Technician include, but are not limited to:

    • Oil field and Safety work experience
    • OSHA
    • Experience with rotating equipment and maintenance
    • Drug test and background check required
    • Acceptable driving record according to company guidelines

    Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.

    Working Conditions: Ability to work in an industrial environment, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidityTraining/Certifications: N/AShift Time/Overtime: Must be available on call, rotating schedule and occasional overnight shifts.Occasional overtime required. Travel: Travel to job sites. Occasional overnight travel.
