This is a non-exempt salaried position; 40 hours per week, 8 hrs/day, dayshift Mon-Fri, however, incumbent must be able to work OT as required. Coordinate and ensure Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) full compliance, perform accounting and clerical tasks daily.
•Follow FTZ guideline and coordinate reporting activities to meet the requirement as defined in the certificate.
•Primary support of the monthly inventory cycle count process.
•Assist the finance team in the implantation and improvement of internal processes.
•Support plant controller in the payroll activities and reporting acting as a backup.
•Set-up and support process to create vendor in SAP.
•Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
•Uses SAP extensively to prepare purchase requisitions, etc.
•Perform GL account and expenses analysis as necessary.
•Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
•Excellent Interpersonal skills including; courtesy, discretion, confidentiality and sound judgment.
•Working knowledge of computers and electronic office equipment.
•Ability to work with other functions of the organization and outside parties (customs, brokers, freight, etc)
•Good knowledge of MS Office – Excel and payroll system.
•Working knowledge of current office practices and procedures.
•Skill in operation of basic computer software; ability to learn SAP and other required programs.
•Ability to effectively meet and communicate with the public/visitors/vendors/team members.
•Ability to make independent judgments which have minor impacts on the organization.
•Education requirement equivalent to an Associate’s Degree.
•Specialized course work in general office practices such as typing, filing, accounting and bookkeeping,
•two (2) years of increasingly responsible related experience, or any equivalent combination of related education and experience
•Foreign Trade Zone Experience
•SAP knowledge and experience
