Position Summary:
Primary responsibility for utilizing a consultative sales approach in prospecting, closing new business, and new business development for the Appliance Warehouse segment of the business.
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies to grow revenue in assigned markets
  • Schedule regular visits with customers to facilitate future renewal discussions
  • Attend local apartment association functions and trade shows
  • Partner with operations to ensure warehouse and inventory are sufficient to meet customer needs
  • Review and execute all rental and vendor agreements
  • Communicate to/work with property and management companies to resolve customer concerns/issues
  • Schedule regular visits with customers to facilitate future renewal discussions
  • Maintain data in the CRM.Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and maintain accurate contact information
    Required Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; and 1-3 years business-to-business sales and prospecting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred
    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to promptly respond to inquiries from employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Ability to work with a variety of mathematical concepts
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
    Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory
  • Conduct sales activities with customers at the customer’s place of business
