The manager insures that the hospital's mission and core values are evident in the service delivered to customers, is responsible for the daily operations of the department and oversees the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care activities on a 24 hour basis. The manager collaborates with other clinical and ancillary departments to meet organizational and department specific Quality and Safety Measures, Community Values, Business Literacy, and Service Excellence goals. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS Health.
Education/Skills: Bachelor Degree in Nursing Required, Master's degree preferred

Three years in a hospital setting; two must be in specialty. Leadership experience required.
