To provide the most positive guest experience possible by providing the highest quality of cleanliness in guest rooms following established procedures. Treat fellow employees and guests with dignity and respect and uphold all company standards, policies and procedures.
Clean guest rooms, public areas and common areas according to present standards. Principal tasks include but would not be limited to vacuuming, dusting, clean A/C grill and vents, clean lanai windows, shampoo carpet, strip and wax floor, scrub and pressure wash floor.
Keep cart, linen room and equipment neat and orderly.
Follow established chemical procedures.
Provide information regarding the property and available services to guests promptly and courteously.
Turn in immediately all articles found in rooms and handle according to Lost and Found procedures.
Report maintenance problems immediately.
Report to Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift, pick up and sign out key, and return key when reporting to office at end of shift.
Follow all safety and energy conservation guidelines.
Report any unusual situations or suspicious activities to supervisor.
Complete daily projects as assigned following housekeeping supervisor’s rotating projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Knowledge of cleaning equipment, methods, and chemicals also preferred. Good communication skills required.
No initial experience required. Training program is two weeks with proficiency reached at approximately three months.
Driver’s License may be required
