Verbal and written communication appropriate for executive level interactions. Effective indirect influencing and collaboration of large diverse communities.Job DutiesLead the Quality Improvement group, responsible for Enterprise Improvement, EMPOWER Continuous Improvement, Audit and Quality Training and Development reporting directly to the VP of Quality for the Electronic Systems sector. Coordinate quality efforts with key stakeholders including Business Area VP/GMs, the ES community, functional VPs and other members of the BAE Systems Leadership Team at Inc and plc as needed
Represent ES to selected external quality organizations and customers.
Be the sponsor for the continuous improvement suggestion program and other business process improvement activities
Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies and data related to production. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, process optimization and modifications.
