Fahrenheit IT is working with a client in the Omaha, NE market looking for a full time (direct hire) Presales Engineer/Solutions Architect to support local market clients.
Ideal candidates should have the following experience:
Experience with network engineeing and presales/solutions architecture with Cisco Route/Switch, Network Virtualization, ACI or similar technology and any Wireless and Security secondary skillsets.
This Solution Architect-Route / Switch must be able to adapt as business and technology requirements change. A Solution Architect should maintain expert-level knowledge of technology, required certifications, and a “trusted advisor” role
Required experience with consultative selling or solution-based sales in a technical field.
Preferred vendor product knowledge: Cisco, EMC, VMWare, HP
Understanding of network based systems and appliances such as firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
Work to create BOMs, SOWs for delivery
CCNA-CCIE level certifications are nice to have
This position does not require much travel but may require someone to travel regionally up to 20%
