Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking a Manufacturing Associate V in Corvallis, Oregon (OR).Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Independently performs tasks in priority and non-typical assignments in support of the product development process
  • Assists with new product and process development in support of R&D partners
  • Executes complex configurations for engineering requests; Understands and executes to customer expectations
  • May monitors the execution of tasks performed by others in similar roles to ensure line goals are met (e.g. On-Time Delivery, Turn-around-time)
  • Identifies complex, special, or undocumented areas for process improvement and collaborates with senior technicians and engineers to develop recommendations
  • Provides training support as needed; Uses established training and/or documentation materials
  • Operates multiple machines and processes while continuing to support product quality requirements
  • Provides first level troubleshooting and problem-solving on tooling and process issues
  • Responsible for auditing materials and proto builds for quality compliance
  • Communicates trends to appropriate person or team for resolution
  • Documents material or process variance and communicates to senior technicians

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Uses ability as a skilled specialist to contribute to the development of new products and processes to complete assignments/tasks in a safe, innovative and effective way
    • Expert knowledge on the general/technical aspects of their assigned work area, tooling and processes
    • Understands product quality and how to escalate potential issues to senior technicians and engineers
    • Works on assignments that are highly complex in nature where a strong degree of independent judgment, initiative and technical knowledge are required to resolve problems
    • Work is completed independently and has ability to handle most unique situations
