Job Description Regional Compliance Manager represents the company and leads its compliance efforts in defined regulatory markets by facilitating the introduction of new products, shortening time to market for products, championing strategic initiatives, intelligence gathering, and functioning as an expert in all regulatory matters for those defined markets.This positions reports to the Product Compliance Senior Manager. First Year Goals
• Coordinate and execute strategies, provide quality service, train and educate Regulators and educate IGT personnel, and provide support as necessary to achieve the Company’s goals.• Identify high risk product approvals in relation to revenue forecast• Maintain turnaround times to meet organization’s expectations
Job Requirements• Minimum of 5 years in the gaming industry, at least 3 of which were in a management or very high level project management role.  Prior experience as a regulator is beneficial.• Clear understanding of the Systems of Internal Controls and Regulations of subject jurisdictions.• Ability to evaluate all situations from the highest level down to the finest detail, and determine and direct appropriate actions at all levels.   • Demonstrated expertise in managing product rollout and detailed analysis and interpretation of critical information.• Expert negotiation and problem solving skills.  • Finely tuned professional demeanor. • Networking skills; ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with regulators and others in the industry. Preferred Qualifications
• Must work collaboratively with IGT internal customers to include; Engineering, Product Assurance, Order Administration, Operations, Shipping, Product Management, Product Realization, and other groups within the Compliance Department. • This position must be able to provide direction or to effectively communicate regulatory knowledge and information to internal customers to help minimize the risk of non-compliance• Having a working understanding of all statutes and regulations associated with gaming, including the technical, shipping, and licensing aspects is a plus.  Special requirements needed
