The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Training Team Leader is responsible for the development, coordination and instructional delivery of intelligence-related curriculum to enhance CBP intelligence capabilities. The candidate must be willing to work at Harpers Ferry, WV a minimum of 2-3 days a week. The CBP Training Team Leader must have prior intelligence field, and teaching experience related to applicable intelligence courses. The candidate is responsible for coordination and delivery of law enforcement intelligence community standard tradecraft courses to CBP at multiple training site locations. The candidate will provide synchronized training schedules to allow for more accurate, realistic planning, and execution of courses. This CBP Intelligence Training Team Leader will schedule instructors to support training events and the development of course materials, based on analysis of customer requirements at respective government locations. The candidate must be experienced with instructional course design, requirements decomposition and scheduling. The candidate will conduct customer engagement to assist in the identification of intelligence training deficiencies and development or implementation of expert solutions using the Systems Approach to Training and Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) model.
Conduct and facilitate intelligence training as directed.
Provide subject matter expertise in support of curriculum development.
Provide training deficiency analysis, including evaluation, for training development and improvement.
Conduct operational supported customer engagement with intelligence leadership for coordination of training deliveries as required.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience
Bachelor Degree or higher and 8-12 years’ of experience.
Significant working knowledge and experience with Department of Defense (DOD) and law enforcement intelligence, collections management, and relevant intelligence analysis methodologies.
Candidate must possess knowledge of sustainment DOD and law enforcement training concepts.
Possess the ability to logically communicate difficult concepts to various audiences with simplicity, clarity, and brevity.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in formal instruction.
All applicants for this position must possess a current SECRET clearance and be immediately eligible up to TOP SECRET/SCI.
Location and Travel:
Training activities will occur in a variety of settings and locations as requested by the government customer.
Travel within CONUS and OCONUS will be required.
Employee can expect to travel up to 50% of the time to attend various meetings, conferences to conduct training.
