Job Description

Barnes Aerospace West Chester Aftermarket has a challenging career opportunity for an Aftermarket Program Manager. We are seeking a business partner with deep understanding of the material planning process: Planning workflow and tools, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, Interface to Logistics (shipment execution, in-transit visibility, packaging data), Inventory/ part shortages and BOM/ production demand; to join our team. Core Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the reliable and efficient flow of materials, level of inventory required, logistics between stock locations, and coordinates physical inventories with finance team.
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly financial analysis, coordinate semi-annual business reviews, and material planning for the Component Repair (CRP) and Revenue Sharing Programs (RSP).  
  • Evaluate and manage customer agreements identify risks and issues; develop mitigation and resolution plans.
  • Prepare relevant business analysis by revenue stream, customer, engine program and model.
  • Evaluate monthly operating performance against plan, prior year and forecast.
  • Manage and refine a set of analytical resources, meaningful reporting, and methodologies to enhance decision-making support.
  • Proactively engage in all aspects of setting/refining strategy, major strategic analyses, and the related operating budgets.
  • Deliver process improvements, systems capabilities, and data analytics that are critical for the RSP business. Collaborate with BES team and enhance productivity metrics and tracking to yield value add results.
  • Lead the review of forecasts to assess potential risks and opportunities in order to drive forecast accuracy.
  • Support preparation and review of business case analyses for future growth opportunities.
  • Job Requirements

    Qualifications: 

    • 5 years’ experience in supply network operations, material planning, purchasing, manufacturing, or business operations.
    • Experience evaluating and managing commercial agreements and interfacing with customers.
    • Demonstrated success with inventory management; aerospace industry preferred.
    • Capable of forecasting and performing financial analysis, as well as identifying and mitigating related risks.
    • Strong analytical skills, data-driven, analytical approach to problem solving leading to sound decision making.
    • High energy individual with proven ability to effectively manage and complete multiple tasks concurrently.
    • A self-motivated individual able to work successfully with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate and engage personnel at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office analytics tools such as Excel and Access) and ERP knowledge, Sytleline ideal.
    • Travel to up to 25% (domestic and international).

    Education Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is required. MBA is preferred.
    • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certificated Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are considered differentiators.
