We are currently looking for a
Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor
(Hiring Bonus $1,000)

The Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor’s role is designed to work within a designated school. The position works the office hours of the school and closely follows the school calendar, with the potential to work a summer program. As an employee you will work closely with 3-6 students, and their families, to develop treatment plans, provide individual and group therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, care coordination and family connection. This is a team environment where you will work closely with school personnel, students, families and other members of the FPS team to ensure a supportive environment is always available for our students, schools and our employees.

Qualifications: This position requires that the employee be able to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) which requires: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s Degree in a Human Services discipline (i.e. counseling; mental health; social work; marriage and family counseling; psychology; educational psychology; vocational counseling; sociology; psychiatric rehabilitation; child, family and community services; early childhood development; guidance and counseling; home economics – child and family services; human development; human service administration; school (education) psychology; human relations; counseling psychology; community counseling; cognitive science; clinical psychology; special education; child development; healthcare counseling; human services; human services counseling; human development; health psychology; social science; divinity/pastoral care/pastoral counseling; any other degree with a demonstrated concentration of study in psychology, social work, or mental health discipline) AND a minimum of one year of verified direct work/internship experience, acquired working with children/adolescents and families in a therapeutic treatment environment.

Salary Range: Up to $33,000
