The Political team is looking for a temporary Sales Support Specialist to help champion Political advertising ahead of the 2018 Mid-Term Elections.

Client is the advertising sales division of The company offers custom solutions for the modern media landscape utilizing national cable networks, internet advertising and promotional events supported by marketing, research and award-winning creative services. Client applies insightful research to understand consumer behavior and build targeted, multi-screen media plans personalized for each customer.



MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Work in collaboration with NCC Media and Client (SR) to support cable television sales for Political campaigns within the Client footprint.

  • Communicate with NCC Political Sales teams on a daily basis to ensure that advertising schedules run as ordered and identify and communicate order execution issues (rates, dayparts, inventory clearance) as they arise.

  • Manage communication between all Client cross-functional groups (Pricing, Traffic, Operations, etc.) and act as a liaison between SR and NCC.

  • Support National Sales teams in regards to order entry, order stewardship, internal reporting and other requests as needed.

  • Partner with NCC's Competitive team and assist with competitive spending requests and inquires on the National and Local level.

  • Work closely with NCC's Traffic team and help facilitate traffic instructions, spot delivery confirmations and other Master Control issues.

  • Stay current with Political press and news that impacts SR sales footprint Cook Report, Politico, National Journal, etc.






  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload based on sales team's needs and internal deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external customers on a daily basis.

  • Knowledge of cable television, digital products, and advanced advertising products is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented, eager to learn and excellent problem solving skills.
