Come share who you are and start doing your life's best work.(sm) As part of our development team, you will predominantly be involved in building business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. You'll stretch your skills and grow your careers as a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with the established specifications and business requirements in order to deliver business value.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing complex business rules and configuration leveraging IBM ODM tools
  • Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement, business decisions and rules using IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM)
  • Understand requirements, rules lists, and decision trees, to support rules/decisions and business insights development
  • Working in fast paced high performing teams.
  • Design the structure of the rule repository (defining what metadata customization is needed for implementation- XOM and BOM)
  • Develop and Implement business rules and use business rule manager web client to interact with business rules at run time
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders and partner with Business Analysis and Quality Assurance to ensure quality software is delivered 
  • Perform code reviews and provide technical mentoring for other developers

  • Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in software development
  • Experience configuring healthcare rules in IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM)
  • Excellent programming skills using Java and hands-on experience with Business Rule Management
  • Solid understanding of the Systems Design
  • Strong Agile experience
  • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment mechanisms and technologies like Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven etc.
  • Work experience with version control tools such as GitHub, SVN etc.
  • Ability to work in distributed team including onshore and offshore and integration team
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to one or more of these programs strongly preferred - Medicaid, MAGI, CHIP, SNAP, TANF
