Job Description Job Description Job DetailsBAE Systems is seeking an experienced Information Systems professional with business requirements and systems analysis experience to join the ESS-IT Application Solutions team supporting the portfolio of business systems in use by the Electronic Systems sector. Providing systems analysis leadership, this role will be responsible for all phases of the application development lifecycle (business requirements gathering, application functional design, architecture, documentation, and coordination of user acceptance testing) for initiatives primarily related to supply chain and manufacturing execution functions. Key Individual Leadership Accountabilities
  • Functional lead for projects, captures customer business and functional requirements, defines reporting needs and performs testing.
  • Ownership of deliverables in a business/systems analyst role through all stages of the applications life cycle including requirements, design and technical specifications.
  • Ability to take non-technical business requirements and design technical solutions in collaboration with other skilled technical resources.
  • Interface and communicate effectively with business partners in supply chain, operations and finance as well as with peers within information technology such as systems administrators, database administrators and infrastructure support.
  • Provide user training as required.
  • Assist in tracking and improving application development metrics.
  • Recommend standards, processes and procedures that improve the overall application development lifecycle
  • Typical Education & Experience Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experienceRequired Skills and Education
  • Functional lead role and hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) manufacturing and supply chain modules. Project manufacturing experience is highly preferred
  • Experience gathering business requirements and formulating technical solutions
  • Manufacturing system knowledge and background
  • Decision-making, task management, and priority management skills
  • Advanced PC skills – EXCEL, word, Powerpoint, MS Project, MS Visio, SQL, PL/SQL in Oracle Database
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • 7 to 10 years’ experience in Oracle ERP implementation, upgrades, enhancements and web based applications
  • Good understanding of financial modules integration with manufacturing suite.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Oracle EBS R12, Oracle ASCP, Oracle Applications Express (APEX)
  • Exposure to ERP cloud implementation
  • Project Management experience
  • Aerospace and Defense experience
