The Change Manager will initially be dedicated to the Procurement IDOLS program (detailed below) to help promote employee adoption and in turn business outcomes.  Future projects will be determined at the completion of our procurement initiative.

Procurement IDOLS is a new strategic program. In the past 3 years, Global Procurement underwent a major transformation, becoming a globally wired function with a heightened degree of specialization and business connectivity in order to leverage the full Mondelēz scale and bring competitive advantage to the company through supplier relationships. The program has elevated the Procurement organization to the upper quartile in terms of best in class organization. Procurement IDOLS is a focused, global program that aims at going from quartile 1 to number 1 in 3 critical focus areas. To accomplish these shifts, new systems, ways of working and capabilities need to be developed and introduced to the organization, while the Procurement Transformation is still relatively new to the organization. Top-tier change and communications will be critical to the success of the program.

Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for change and communication of the projects.
  • Provide global guidance and oversight for any change effort related to IDOLS, e.g. Regional Change Leads and the HRBL’s, as well as leaders and stakeholders in setting up and delivering an appropriate change and communication strategy.
  • Support project leaders in identifying & assessing change impacts to the organization / people / process / technology and develop required plans.
  • Own overall change and communication plan for whole program and ensure workstream plans are coordinated in line with the global strategy (i.e. managed as ONE program).
  • Identify and deliver adequate interventions to support the behavioral shifts required to implement & sustain new way of working.
  • Leverage lessons learned from previous, similar projects as well as Procurement Transformation to constantly improve future strategies
  • Lead definition and design the strategic change and communication interventions that enable the delivery of successful & sustainable outcomes based on assessment of the maturity of the organization at the start. This will have to happen in collaboration with other Change teams and Business Leaders. Ensure engagement and success also with the all impacted parts of the business.
  • Identify communication needs & draft key messages associated with the project and create communications plans and materials in partnership with the Program Lead, PMO, HRBL & communication teams.
  • Facilitate identification and definition of critical capabilities/skills to be built in the individual sub-projects of IDOLS in partnership with the Project Leads, PMO and HRBL; support HRBL during definition of build vs. buy decisions in terms of people required to execute the IDOLS program outcomes; support development of skill building programs for existing team that are being delivered through the Procurement Capability team.
  • Provide support to build individual and organization change capability amongst initiative teams and key stakeholders within area of scope (in alignment with the overall Mondelez change capability building strategy) and influence through ongoing partnership and active coaching.
  • Provide tools to measure and monitor the ongoing effectiveness of change interventions through qualitative and quantitative measures; report progress to Program Steering Committee and GPLT on regular basis.
  • Partner and collaborate with other change and transformation managers to integrate plans, ensure cohesive and consistent application and continuous improvements of the change approach.

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Extensive experience in Human Resources
  • Extensive experience leading and managing change and communication
  • Human Resources experience in a multinational corporation is strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in training / instructional design preferred
  • Previous experience managing and influencing senior executive stakeholders
  • Knowledge, experience and exposure to best practices in change management required 
  • Experience or direct exposure to best practice HR Business Leadership is preferred
  • Experience in dealing with and exposure to senior management on global and regional level is required
